Sucks that the manufacturer is the one pooping on your dreams so far. Le sigh.

And you and the Huz are so darn cute! Look at your skin! It's perfect!

Most of the Alpha Collection bags will be big, boxy, and roomy. I'm thinking for the subsequent collection, the Beta, I'll feature several clutches and evening bags.

Silver brocade and gold trim sounds gorgeous! That was exactly the look/design I was going for with the original "Modernist La Nuit." =P Unfortunately, production didn't mirror conception, and that's really why I scrapped the evening clutch idea, sort of a form of defeat. =( The pattern for a portfolio clutch is going to be much easier for the manufacturer to make.

Oh man, all these issues. I really, really do hope that you do get the material changed so that the day folio comes in profesh material/color schemes.

Perhaps, though, you could do the Modernist Redux for a night clutch at some point, maybe a patent with metallic trim? My mum has this beautiful silver brocade clutch with gold trim, and I think it's amazing. Of course, yours is probably going to rock a lot harder. It could be Modernist La Nuit (Modernist/Night). Or something. :)

Still, I think the Modernist day is brilliant. Perfect and profesh, but still high fashion.
