About this Blog

Hi. I'm Sunny, the one authoring these posts. This blog will document my journey from not knowing how to thread a sewing machine to making my first handbags and working with a manufacturer to convincing my favorite boutiques to carry Taryn Zhang. This blog is about the development of Taryn Zhang New York, a line of corporate professional handbags and briefcases for the working woman.
All that said, focus has always been one of my weaknesses. In execution, this blog will really be about whatever I want it to be any particular day. There may be vacation photos, random and informal DIYs, rantings and ravings, food photos, spotlights on fellow designers and friends in the industry, or whatever else triggers my fancy.
If you are a much more focused person than I am and are here primarily to learn more about the line of handbags Taryn Zhang New York, visit the company website here: www.tarynzhang.com.Follow Taryn’s Design Diary
About Taryn Zhang

The Taryn Zhang aesthetic finds inspiration from the accomplished, sophisticated, fiercely independent professional. Every handbag and accessory is designed with the corporate woman in mind, to complement her in and out of the office, from conferences and client meetings to cocktail parties, weekend outings, and date nights.
For the busy executive, the worldly pioneer, the intellectual, or the intrepid commander, Taryn Zhang offers a perfect balance of feminism and femininity, strength and elegance, luxury and social consciousness. The Taryn Zhang brand is an expression of the woman with an eye for style but a mind intensely focused on the substance of her life and the achievement of her goals.
The keyword is ambition. Every handbag highlights one aspiration, one facet of the female spirit's strength. The brand embodies who we are as women and who we strive to be, with bold designs that emphasize fearlessness, balance, and unity.-

Papercutting
